Use Alt or Ctrl. Esc cancels. Backspace clears the shortcut you are editing.

Websites use the shortcut you save here. Alt+Shift+V, S, P, and R also stay available through Chrome, including on the New Tab page. Chrome’s shortcut list changes those.
