Chrome extension

Add it to Chrome

Capture the page you are on, mark it up, or record a tab or your screen. Chrome installs this from the Chrome Web Store. One click, then confirm the prompt in Chrome.

Install

Chrome installs it for you

A website cannot install an extension by itself. Chrome only does that from the Chrome Web Store. Click Add to Chrome, then choose Add extension in the window Chrome opens.

1. Add to Chrome

The button opens the Screenshoteditortool page in the Chrome Web Store.

2. Confirm

Chrome asks you to add the extension. That confirmation is the install.

3. It is in the toolbar

The puzzle-piece menu shows Screenshoteditortool. Pin it if you want it on the bar.

The store listing is still a draft, so Add to Chrome says the item is not available until Google publishes it. Until then, download the zip and load the unzipped folder from chrome://extensions with Developer mode and Load unpacked.
